About My Clients
I began my career as a perinatal social worker, but also have additional expertise working with individuals and families dealing with life transitions, illness and loss. My areas of clinical interest include anxiety, pregnancy, childbirth and parenting, perinatal loss, grief and loss, adjustment to illness, aging, and depression. I work best with motivated individuals are are ready to make positive change in thier lives.
My Background and Approach
Utilizing my 20 years of experience, my goal for providing therapy is to help individuals learn tools to navigate the complex nature of our world and the complex emotions that come along with it. I aim to help people gain peace in the midst of anxiety, heal from trauma and loss, learn communication tools, and develop new insights. I utilize a strengths based, nonjudgmental approach with my clients. I believe in providing a safe, private and supportive space for my clients to freely explore experiences and themes in their life that may cause them pain or stress. I have experienced time and again the power of therapy to truly help people, and I am passionate about the work I do.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Through therapy, individuals and familes can create powerful change in thier lives - improving quality of life, relationships with others, and an overall sense of peace. By having a safe, private, and non-judgemental space to openly discuss difficult memories, experiences, or feelings; powerful healing and new understandings can begin to emerge.
