About My Clients
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in New Jersey with a passion for helping children, adolescents, families, and couples navigate life transitions, improve communication, and build meaningful relationships. My approach is strengths-based, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s unique needs, whether we’re addressing anxiety, identity challenges, or family dynamics.
My Background and Approach
Over the last 10 years, I have gained experience supporting children, adolescents, families, young adults, and couples. My approach is structured, reflective, and strengths-based, with a focus on life transitions, communication issues, and autism spectrum support. I also work with adolescents who are hesitant to engage and couples navigating early parenthood. I’m also a NJ board-approved LPC supervisor offering virtual individual supervision for LACs. My supervision style is structured, skill-focused, and collaborative. I help early-career clinicians build confidence, develop strong clinical instincts, and grow into their professional identity. Evening availability and free consults offered.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that insight is the key to success, when it comes to self improvement. The more that we are aware of what is going on within us, the more control we can have on how it affects us. When life gets chaotic, we can feel that we are losing control, and begin to become flooded with intrusive thoughts. These intrusive thoughts then can lead to unwanted feelings of anxiety and depression. Through the use of evidence-based intervention, I truly believe that I can help you regain control over you life. We do this by building awareness of the types of intrusive thoughts that you are experiencing. From there, we can then build an understanding of how our influential our perspective can be, and explore alternative perspectives to the same situation. This allows us to more efficiently manage our emotions, which then leads to feelings of control.
