About My Clients
I work with adults navigating stress, relationship challenges, mood concerns, and major life transitions. Many of my clients struggle with impulsivity, anger, or feeling stuck in patterns that affect their work, family, or sense of purpose. They often want practical tools to manage emotions, improve communication, and regain control of their lives while building healthier relationships and stronger self-awareness.
My Background and Approach
My background includes working with individuals facing mood disorders, substance use concerns, relationship conflict, and major life stressors. I have experience supporting clients who feel stuck in patterns of impulsivity, anger, or emotional overwhelm and want to develop healthier ways of coping and relating to others. My approach to therapy is collaborative, practical, and grounded in evidence-based methods. I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and solution-focused strategies to help clients build insight while also developing concrete tools they can use in everyday life. I believe therapy works best when clients feel respected, challenged, and supported. My goal is to create a space where people can be honest about what they’re going through, better understand their patterns, and move toward meaningful change in their relationships, work, and personal well-being.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people are capable of meaningful change when they feel understood, respected, and supported. Life can put people in difficult situations—whether that’s navigating relationships, identity, career pressure, or major transitions—and therapy can be a place to slow down, make sense of things, and find a healthier path forward. I have a special place in my heart for veterans, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and emerging adults who are figuring out who they are and where they fit in the world. These groups often carry unique experiences and pressures, and they deserve spaces where they can speak openly without judgment. At the same time, I believe therapy should be both compassionate and honest. Growth often requires courage, reflection, and accountability. My role is to walk alongside clients as they build insight, strengthen resilience, and create meaningful change in their lives and relationships.
