About My Clients
Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed by stress, stuck in life transitions, or weighed down by anxiety or depression. They’re often people who give so much to others but struggle to find the same care and balance for themselves. I enjoy working with adults who are ready to pause, reflect, and build healthier ways of coping so they can feel more grounded and connected in their daily lives.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is collaborative and integrative, combining evidence-based techniques with a focus on making the process relatable and approachable. I believe in using humor, metaphors, and real-world scenarios to help clients better understand and navigate their challenges. Humor can ease tension, metaphors can make complex concepts more accessible, and real-life examples allow us to explore solutions in a way that feels practical and grounded. Overall, my goal is to create a comfortable, supportive space where therapy feels both meaningful and manageable.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
At the heart of my practice is the belief that everyone deserves a space where they feel respected, valued, and supported. I strive to create an environment rooted in compassion, acceptance, and hope. I believe in meeting clients where they are and honoring their unique experiences, values, and strengths. My goal is to help each person feel empowered to grow in a way that aligns with what matters most to them. Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time in nature, reading, and connecting with my local community. I’ve volunteered with organizations that support mental health awareness and family well-being, and I value opportunities to give back where I can. I believe balance, curiosity, and connection are essential to growth, both in my life and in the work I do with clients.
