About My Clients

I primarily see adults and young adults, as well as older adolescents ages 16+. People often come to therapy when they’re navigating mood or anxiety concerns, trauma, grief, identity questions, neurodivergence, relationship stress, or a desire to better understand themselves. Some feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in painful patterns that no longer feel helpful. I aim to offer a warm, nonjudgmental space where we can make sense of what you’re experiencing.

My Background and Approach

I am a limited licensed clinical social worker with graduate training in interpersonal practice and clinical psychology research. I earned my MSW from the University of Michigan, with a focus on integrated health, mental health, and interpersonal practice, and I also hold an MA in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University. My approach is collaborative, thoughtful, and individualized. I draw from CBT-informed, DBT-informed, interpersonal, supportive, psychodynamic, mindfulness-based, and insight-oriented approaches depending on your needs and goals. In therapy, we might focus on understanding patterns in mood, anxiety, relationships, trauma responses, emotion regulation, identity, self-criticism, or coping. I try to balance practical support with deeper reflection, so therapy can feel both useful in the present and meaningful over time. I expect to begin seeing clients in early July 2026 and am currently building a waitlist for prospective clients. Insurance details to come.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe therapy works best when it feels collaborative and human. I try to bring warmth, curiosity, humor when it fits, and a strong respect for each person’s identities, values, and lived experience. I aim to offer a nonjudgmental and welcoming space for people of many backgrounds, beliefs, identities, and life experiences. I respect that clients come to therapy with different values, cultures, faith traditions, political views, relationship experiences, sexual identities, and ways of understanding the world. My goal is to meet you with curiosity and care, not judgment. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming, neurodiversity-affirming, and sex-positive, while centering each client’s own values, goals, and lived experience. Outside of therapy, I appreciate creativity and the small rituals that help life feel more manageable. I love fiber arts like knitting, crochet, and cross stitch, and I also enjoy gardening, reading, cozy video games, NYT Games, and spending time with my dog and cat.
