About My Clients
I appreciate the human experience and I welcome the opportunity to work with people where they are in life. My work has predominately been with adults struggling with depression, anxiety, complex trauma, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, and ADHD.
My Background and Approach
I believe the foundation for success in therapy is rooted in the therapeutic alliance between therapist and client. In this partnership, I bring authenticity, empathetic understanding and compassion. My approach is intentional, eclectic, and strengths based to best suit your needs as we move through this journey together. It is my genuine belief that everyone is the expert on their own life, but often times we need a little bit of help to unlock our greatness. I hope to be that help for you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have worked with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities for more than 12 years. I feel a deep commitment to this work as these individuals are often told they are unable to benefit from therapy. I have put work into adapting traditional therapy practices to suit the unique needs of this group of people. I continue to strive to provide gender affirming care and I am committed to creating a safe experience for members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community. I have a passion for learning and a love for people and being a therapist has allowed be to find my purpose.
