About My Clients
Maybe you're in the middle of a major life transition that's turned out to be harder than you expected. Maybe stress, anxiety, or depression has been building and you're ready to do something about it. Or you're carrying something from the past that's still getting in the way. My clients come from all walks of life, including those navigating demanding careers, significant life changes, and pregnancy and postpartum.
My Background and Approach
My goal is to support you in navigating life's challenges, drawing on the best available research and a deeply individualized understanding of your experience. I work from a range of approaches including CBT, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, and mindfulness, as well as psychodynamic, insight-oriented, and relational approaches. I tailor my work to each person, building on strengths and resiliencies to support real, lasting change. I studied at Duke University, NYU, Yale, and Columbia, where I now maintain an active research program as a faculty member.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
At the heart of my work is a genuine belief in people's capacity for healing, growth, fulfillment, and joy. Before graduate school I worked in management consulting and PR, domestically and abroad. Feel free to reach out for a free phone consultation. I'm happy to answer your questions and see if we might be a good fit.
