About My Clients
There is a special place in my heart for working with the LGBTQ community! However, I provide affirmative care to anyone that I work with. Some of the topics I see brought up with my clients are often related to stress management, life transitions, identity development, anxiety/panic, depression, and relationship issues.
My Background and Approach
I earned a Masters degree from Chapman University in 2017. I have experience providing therapy to children/adolescents, adults, couples, and families in clinical, residential, and non-profit settings. From my work with at-risk youth and vulnerable populations dealing with complex trauma, I gained training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Families OverComing Under Stress (FOCUS). I'm also trained in the Gottman Couples Therapy approach, which focuses on improving communication, reducing conflict, and creating shared meaning among partners. Some of the therapeutic lenses I work from include but are not limited to Narrative, Solution-focused, Cognitive Behavioral, Attachment, and trauma-focused therapies. I greatly value collaboration with my clients, striving to work together to reach goals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a member of the LGBTQ community and have a strong passion for serving this community. I have great pride in working with diverse clients. I provide culturally responsive care that considers diversity, equity, and inclusion needs. I provide space for my clients to share and process their unique stories.
