About My Clients
Life’s big questions can feel overwhelming. As an existential therapist, I help people struggling with anxiety, identity, and transitions find clarity and purpose. Together we untangle fear, self-doubt, and old narratives so you can live with more freedom and authenticity. My role isn’t to hand you answers but to walk alongside you as you discover your own. Change is possible, and your story isn’t finished yet
My Background and Approach
Corby Ryan Jackson, MA, is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas, and a Clinical Mental Health Counselor in Utah. I trained at Adams State University with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and I’ve built a practice that blends existential depth with practical tools. From Dallas, I work with clients navigating anxiety, trauma, identity shifts, relationships, midlife transitions, and bariatric mental health. My approach draws on existential and narrative therapy while weaving in CBT, ACT, REBT, and mindfulness-based methods. My work is about more than symptom relief—it’s about helping people break cycles, reclaim authorship of their story, and live with clarity, courage, and freedom.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I know what it means to fight for change. My own journey through significant weight loss and healing from trauma taught me that transformation is never just about willpower, it is about facing the pain, rewriting the story, and finding meaning in the struggle. That lived experience fuels my work as a therapist: I walk with clients in the tension between fear and possibility, reminding them that safety and growth can coexist. My principles are grounded in authenticity, courage, and freedom. Outside of therapy, I have a deep love for philosophy, fitness, and creativity—interests that keep me curious, grounded, and connected to purpose. These passions weave into my work, helping clients not only heal but also discover new ways to live fully, with clarity, safety, and a renewed sense of self.
