My approach to ACT is focused on mindfulness, acceptance, and value-driven actions. I believe that ACT can empower clients to live more fully in alignment with their core values, fostering a sense of meaning and personal growth despite life's challenges. This helps people get out of that "stuck" feeling in life. I have found that exploration of values and how to apply them in real-time can help people find motivation growth.

CBT is especially effective for clients who benefit from a more structured, solution-focused approach and are motivated to actively work on changing their thought patterns. I take an empowerment approach to CBT with an emphasis on building coping strategies and problem-solving skills that help clients develop resilience and a greater sense of control over their mental well-being, empowering them to manage challenges and reduce distress in their daily lives.

DBT is particularly effective for individuals who have challenges with emotional dysregulation, impulsivity, or suicidal thoughts.
