About My Clients
Life can bring all sorts of challenges and difficulties, and I am privileged to help people get unstuck. My work focuses on helping adults and teens navigate major life changes, work through challenging childhood experiences, and change our relationship to unwanted feelings of anxiety and depression. Our modern world presents a multitude of anxieties and challenges, but I believe as humans we have an inherent positive drive towards growth and wholeness.
My Background and Approach
With a background in Jungian Depth psychology, I help clients uncover unconscious patterning through a relational framework. I am particular interested in how societal oppression impacts individuals and how therapy can be used as a tool for individual liberation. I frame liberation as individuation—reclaiming disowned parts of the self that dominant culture has suppressed. Together, we can see symptoms as symbolic messages from psyche and transform personal suffering into conscious awareness and personal freedom.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a therapist, I believe change occurs through relationships; the relationship we have with our Self, others and the environment around us can greatly shape how we feel day to day. I foster a therapeutic relationship that allows a safe, non-judgemental space for reflection, insight and growth. Life can bring all sorts of challenges and difficulties, and I am privileged to help people get unstuck. My work focuses on helping adults and teens navigate major life changes, work through challenging childhood experiences, and change our relationship to unwanted feelings of anxiety and depression. I believe passionately in the therapeutic value of human connection, and as a Depth psychotherapist, I see deep transformation occur when we enter into a safe therapeutic space and allow ourselves to be seen. My approach is humanistic and existential, exploring unseen causes of distress and cultivating profound and lasting self-awareness.
