About My Clients
My goal is to help clients find peace and live life. I hope to help clients navigate life challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief, anger, transitions within life, and whatever other challenges they bring to the table. I hope to help couples navigate their relationship challenges and to help families better understand one another.
My Background and Approach
I am a graduate of Northcentral University with a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy and am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Ohio. I have earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Central State University and a Master of Business Administration from Ashford University. I have studied and worked with family systems theories such as Experiential, Cognitive Behavioral, Narrative, Solution Focused, Gottman’s Method, and several more. I recognizes the importance of family systems and relationships when it comes to our mental health. I have also completed Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Trauma-Informed Coach courses and plan to complete more. I have learned that therapy should be customized to the client and am careful to create a comfortable environment for clients to feel free to share their life experiences and challenges as I help them to navigate and improve their mental health.
