About My Clients
I work with teens, young adults, and parents navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, identity questions, and feeling stuck or overwhelmed. Whether you're a student facing academic or social pressure, a young adult adjusting to independence, or a parent seeking support for your own mental health, I offer a warm, relatable space to feel heard and supported. Together, we’ll build insight, confidence, and real tools to help you move forward with clarity and resilience.
My Background and Approach
At 25, I bring a fresh and relatable perspective to therapy—especially for teens, college students, and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, and identity questions. As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Inner Strength Therapy, I offer individual therapy for adolescents, young adults, and parents in a space that feels genuine, supportive, and free of judgment. I’m close enough in age to understand the cultural and digital pressures younger clients face today, while still offering the structure and experience to help guide real progress. My approach is client-centered and flexible, pulling from CBT, mindfulness, and person-centered therapy. My background includes working in college counseling, inpatient child psychiatry, and private practice. Whether you're a young person figuring things out or a parent seeking support for yourself or your teen, I’ll meet you where you are—with warmth, empathy, and a focus on meaningful growth.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a place where you feel truly seen, heard, and accepted—without judgment or stigma. My passion for mental health comes from personal experience. In high school, I lost classmates to suicide, and those losses deeply impacted me, showing just how important it is to have open, honest conversations and support long before things feel overwhelming. I want everyone to know that asking for help is not a sign of weakness, but a brave and powerful step toward healing and growth. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where you can bring your whole self, feel truly understood, and start making meaningful, positive changes in your life. Outside of work, I love staying active by working out and playing sports, enjoying live music, and spending quality time with friends and family.
