About My Clients

I have a passion for working with the LGBTQ+ community and creatives, both individuals and couples. I see many people that seek relief from a number of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships and societal expectations. They seek out therapy because life can feel overwhelming, isolating, and uncertain. All of this can lead them to feel anxious, confused and hopeless. And the longer they feel stuck in the place they are in, the harder it is to feel things can ever change.

My Background and Approach

I believe that we are all inherently resilient and have tools and strengths to look at the difficult things life and face them head on. The act of seeking out therapy alone is a sign of strength and resilience. Sometimes it is hard for us to know this about ourselves. Life, society and trauma have a way of boxing us into the way we ‘should’ be, think or feel so the wonderful traits, strengths and tools we inherently possess get shielded from our view. We no longer see ourselves as who we actually are, but rather who the world has told us we are. I believe my job is to help you find your preferable way of living and being. I use narrative practices to help bring those strengths that have been hidden back to life. My hope is to walk alongside you in your search for change, help to question those ‘shoulds’ and explore how your values and strengths may act as solutions for the obstacles you face.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
