My Background and Approach
I've been a practicing clinician for over 20+ years. I use Emotionally Focused Therapy(EFT) when working with couples. The premise of EFT is that our history of attachment plays a role in how we interact with our partners. Each partner is trying to communicate what they need, but sometimes our best efforts get lost in translation. EFT helps translate what you and your partner are trying to say to one another.
