About My Clients
Many of my clients come to me wanting to work through a particular challenge in their life. What they often learn is this requires caring for themselves, and often involves addressing something they've been avoiding. Clients I've worked with are deeply introspective, balance their logical and emotional side, and are eager to understand their patterns and behaviors. Clients generally are open to trying new things, including new ways of thinking that may help them live and feel better
My Background and Approach
My practice is guided by the power of feeling feelings and building a relationship with your mind and body. My approach is guided by helping you understand your thoughts and beliefs, and how these are helping or hurting you get where you want to go. I use approaches like ACT, CBT, Mindfulness and the mind body connection to help you understand yourself better. I believe through reflection and openness you can find new awareness of things you may do automatically, and now can choose how you want to move in the world.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe for many mindfulness or feeling their emotions feels scary or they were taught it's a bad thing. My approach is connected to helping you connect with your true self, and that means simply helping you know more about yourself and this opening the path to choose how you respond. I believe in courageously choosing to honor yourself, and acknowledging help as a strength because you want to be more aligned with the person you want to become. I believe there are few spaces to authentically reflect in that way. My hope is this can be one.
