My Background and Approach
I have over 20 years of experience assisting adults, adolescents, families, and couples overcome life's challenges. I have experience working in hospitals, community agencies and mental health centers. I also have experience in residential settings, community-based settings, substance abuse treatment facilities, developmental disabilities, senior living community and at the University level with a variety of roles. uses evidence-based practices, Experiential Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing techniques to empower the individuals to achieve personal growth; Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, (DBT); Solution Focus Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, (CBT); EMDR Therapy to help individuals process traumatic and disturbance experiences.
