About My Clients
Clients who are looking for an integrative and holistic approach to healing their relationship with food and body. I am part of Liberating Jasper, which is a healing community that provides groups, classes, retreats, nutrition and mental health therapy to help those looking to create and participate in community with other like-minded individuals. You don't have to be perfect, recovered, or even close--we welcome you wherever you are on this journey towards finding peace with food and body.
My Background and Approach
Health at Every Size lens, certified Body Trust Provider practicing from a social justice, weight-inclusive, anti-oppression framework. Therapeutic modalities include Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Existential psychotherapy, and trauma-informed mindfulness approaches.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
We believe everyone deserves to feel at home in their body. There are so many forces at play in this world that undermine our ability to listen and tune into what our body and our emotions are telling us. I believe in the inherent worth and value of all bodies, even if our culture doesn't. We will identify the bigger systems that are impacting your relationship with food and body and work to address both the larger issues and the individual ones that are interrupting your ability to feel free.
