About My Clients

Are you an individual who is experiencing pain, loneliness, and isolation due to a significant loss? Have you experienced a Death, Divorce, or other significant losses including loss due to Dementia/Alzheimer’s Disease or the loss of a pet? I can help you to release the unfinished business that loss can bring which then allows you, the griever, to move forward towards a more healthy, joyful, and productive life.

My Background and Approach

I discovered the Grief Recovery Method when my fiancé completed suicide. This program changed my life in a very profound way. With a new and clear understanding of myself, I went back to school and obtained my Master’s in Social Work through Arizona State University with bereavement as my focus. Today, I work full-time as a bereavement counselor for a hospice organization. GRM also helped to provide me a way to be present with my mother during her journey through Alzheimer’s. The GRM process helped me to release old resentments, undelivered communications of an emotional nature, and all the things I wished I had said differently, better or more. I was able to say goodbye to the unrealized hopes, dreams and expectations I had for my relationship with my mother. This allowed me to be present with my mother without the many triggers that caused the hurt, isolation, and sadness. My mother behaviors became extremely difficult, but I was able to be present without the resentment.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I have experience facilitating of a variety of grief support groups: Survivor of Suicide Loss Support group, Adult Grief Support groups, Stepping Stones - a children’s grief support group, and a pet loss support group. I was a co-creator of the No One Dies Alone program for Clark County, Washington, and I am currently a member on the advisory board for HOPE Dementia Support of SW Washington. I offer you compassion and empathy. Years of experience as a bereavement counselor. A safe environment for you to lean into your unresolved grief and bring it to completion. I offer you encouragement and a strong sense of connection. I provide a non-judgement, sacred space for you to process your grief
