Sometimes when we think of trauma, we think, “Have we experienced trauma?” In most cases, the answer is: “yes.” Trauma could have started in your childhood. Trauma could have been classmates making fun of a pimple on your face, or laughing at your clothes. Trauma could have been your parents making you feel unloved and unworthy in life. Trauma could be your partner criticizing you. Trauma could be rejection from a job that you feel you deserved. If you're here, you've likely experienced trauma.
My Background and Approach
My focus is to help you overcome your trauma. We will go beyond traditional “Talk Therapy” and will create goals that facilitate lasting change. I provide various forms of therapy, such as EMDR, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Narrative Therapy. What does this mean to you? It means that I will bring awareness to what is holding you back. Every client is different, so every treatment will be customized specifically to your unique needs. We will work through your trauma to identify how it may be creating stress. We will study your stress responses, manage and resolve stressors from your trauma that are creating anxiety. We will focus on your emotional, physical, and mental well-being. Our sessions will help empower you, heal you, and provide tools to be the best version of you. Remember, you are SO much more than your trauma. Above all, you deserve to heal and you deserve to be heard.
