About My Clients

My ideal client is someone who is navigating life transitions, grappling with identity, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. Whether you're a creative professional facing industry pressures, an LGBTQ+ individual exploring your authentic self, or a member of the adoption constellation seeking connection, I'm here to help you find clarity and healing. I work best with clients who are open to self-exploration, willing to engage deeply, and ready to embrace change.

My Background and Approach

I hold an MA in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. My work is deeply informed by the intersections of identity, culture, and personal history. My approach is rooted in psychodynamic and depth-oriented therapies, focusing on exploring the unconscious patterns that influence your thoughts, behaviors, and relationships. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship as a vessel for healing and self-discovery, offering a space where you can delve into the deeper aspects of your psyche. I specialize in working with LGBTQ+ individuals and couples, creative professionals, and members of the adoption constellation. Together, we will create a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you can explore your inner world, build resilience, and navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and intention.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe in the inherent worth and dignity of every individual, regardless of their background, identity, or life experiences. As a gay therapist and parent to two children of color through open adoption, I bring a personal understanding of the complexities of identity, family, and belonging. My work is grounded in the belief that everyone deserves a safe and supportive space to explore their true selves without fear of judgment. I value authenticity, compassion, and the courage it takes to face one's inner world. I am committed to social justice and strive to be an ally to marginalized communities, understanding that systemic issues often impact personal well-being. I believe in the power of deep, meaningful connections and the importance of honoring each person’s unique journey. My approach is collaborative, respecting your autonomy while guiding you toward greater self-awareness and healing.
