I have worked in an out of district therapeutic school as a therapist for middle and high schoolers where I provided individual, group, and family therapy. I am currently a clinical supervisor for a Children's Mobile Response and Stabilization Services Program serving youth from age 0-21.

A majority of my experience has been with crisis intervention and de-escalation focus. This has provided me the opportunity to develop proven strategies to manage and cope with high stress situations and overwhelming scenarios. I have received training focused on mindfulness techniques to allow you the ability to be intentional with decision making even when overwhelmed.

I am Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) Certified across the country and I have completed a year long ARC Grow training, which focuses on what we as care givers bring to every interaction with a child. If you struggle with interactions with your child or your child is having behavioral outbursts in the home or in school I can use these certifications and trainings to provide you concrete and proven techniques.

CBT is a specific manualized treatment approach specifically designed to address various cognitive distortions and help manage anxiety. Through my work in crisis intervention CBT has been a highly effective approach within my practice

As I am a highly interpersonal and participatory focused clinician I believe that the use of exposure therapy can be both a challenging yet effective tool. I have been using exposure therapy as one of many tools to assist you in being able to manage difficult situations. Hypothetical scenarios will only bring the therapeutic process so far and to be able to put those words into action will make the difference.

Mindfulness is an approach to be highly intentional in both actions and thoughts. Mastering the ability to respond to a situation vs reacting to a situation happens in a fraction of a second, but learning to slow down can have dramatic differences in how we feel during and after an overwhelming or uncomfortable situation. I have taken multiple trainings on mindfulness based approaches and I will utilize them in my work with you.
