About My Clients
I help clients navigating loss and loneliness due to chronic illness, religious trauma, and relationship issues. Slowing down with pain and loss of control uncovers immensely important insights, catharsis, and healing for long-held wounds. I've helped many clients navigate autoimmune disorders, PMDD, and other diagnosis, providing tools to enrich relationships with their bodies, loved ones, and the world around them.
My Background and Approach
I use Internal Family Systems (IFS) and other evidence-based approaches to create an affirming, collaborative space where you can map and heal your internal dialogues. We'll make room for grief and change, understand patterns that may no longer be serving you, and work toward a deeper sense of connection and belonging. In our initial sessions, we'll take time to explore what type of therapy feels best for your personality, and which issues we'd like to focus on. I work hard to create a space where you feel completely safe, tailored just for you. If you're someone who likes to jump into deep, emotional work or who prefers to just talk, you are more than welcome here.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a systems-based therapist who embraces non-pathologizing philosophies. Our emotional realities are deeply influenced by our families, communities, cultures, and societies. The modalities I use look to reconcile your inner experiences with the most important elements of your identity.
