About My Clients
I work with adults who are navigating change, grief, trauma, identity shifts, heartbreak, and the quiet exhaustion of living in a world that way too often asks way too much. I am proud to be a part of and serve the LGBTQIA+ community here in DFW. So many of my clients come in feeling frustrated about relationships, anxious about the future, or angry in ways they don’t know how to express. I’ve been there, I get it. I feel the collective anxiety and anger moving through our community.
My Background and Approach
I use evidence-based modalities with all my clients, but therapy with me isn’t about symptom checklists or surface-level fixes. I care about the behaviors you want to change. More than that, I want to understand the beliefs underneath them. The stories you learned about yourself. The rules you’ve been living by. I’m direct, empathetic, honest, and engaged in the room. I’m not a sit and nod along therapist.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I know how powerful it can be to simply be heard by someone. Someone who is actually listening and who gets you. Therapy isn’t magic. But it can sure as hell feel that way when things begin to make sense and you start to see real change. I believe that everyone has the power within themselves to solve their challenges, sometimes you simply need a different perspective. That's why I am here.
