My Background and Approach
Colby is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN-CNP) practicing in Oklahoma. Colby provides medication management and brief supportive psychotherapy in-person or through telehealth. Colby has be worked in the healthcare industry for 10+ years in critical care, post-anesthesia care, dialysis, and palliative care. His extensive background in healthcare has helped with his holistic approach to mental healthcare.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Patients often slip through the cracks when it comes to care, especially mental healthcare. My goal is to bring back the holistic functional approach to treating mental health concerns and humanize your care. I truly believe in patients intrinsic power of healing, but sometimes we need additional support to find ourselves and our strength. As a member of the LGBT+ and Latinx community, I understand the specific struggles that our community faces. My practice proudly offers LGBT+ and BIPOC-affirming care.
