About My Clients
Are you exhausted from navigating obstacles of addiction, or any mental health challenge? I serve those seeking a supportive, evidence-based environment to process trauma and build a more stable future. Using a blend of CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing, I help individuals develop practical coping skills and mindfulness. If you are looking for a professional, trauma-informed space to gain clarity and improve your mental well-being, I am here to support your journey.
My Background and Approach
With a foundation in substance Use and addiction recovery, I specialize in helping individuals navigate the complexities of or dependency and life transitions. I have experience working with adolescents and adults, providing a supportive and non-judgmental space to find their footing. I am a firm believer in the power of evidence-based tools and regularly facilitate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) groups. By teaching skills in mindfulness, distress tolerance, and emotional regulation, I help my clients build the resilience needed to handle life’s "uphill" climbs. I believe that growth often happens at the edge of our comfort zones. My experience coaching mountain biking, teaching Pilates, and being involved with the Burton Chill foundation has taught me that resilience is a muscle we build through practice.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that true healing is a holistic process—one that honors the deep connection between a resilient mind and an active body. My philosophy is rooted in the idea that growth doesn't happen in a vacuum; it happens through movement, discipline, and the courage to face life’s steepest climbs. Whether on a yoga mat, a rock wall, or in a therapy session, I believe every individual possesses an inherent "inner grit." My role is to help you tap into that strength using evidence-based tools like CBT and Mindfulness. I view the therapeutic relationship as a partnership where we balance the hard work of behavioral change with the grace of self-discovery. For me, therapy isn't just about managing symptoms; it’s about building a life of meaning and purpose.
