About My Clients

I primarily work with teens, young adults, women, and any individual navigating life transitions. Going through college, experiencing grief, or navigating fertility, pregnancy, to postpartum are a few of the areas I specialize in. These can feel like make-or-break moments in your life but we can work to face the discomfort together. I currently only offer video appointments, but luckily this gives us both the flexibility to have sessions either within or outside of the typical 9-to-5 schedule.

My Background and Approach

We’ve all gone through a season in life that helps us realize that change is needed. My main therapeutic approach is Narrative Therapy with a sprinkle of evidence-based tools in order to best serve your needs. I believe in understanding your narrative and using creativity, warmth, and humor to navigate these seasons together. We are all human, after all! I started my career in Human Resources but quickly found that the corporate lifestyle and lack of my own boundary setting were not compatible with my goals. I found strength in my own narrative of what I wanted from life and who I wanted to become. I would be honored to support you in your own journey of facing the current discomfort you experience and growing into the person you were meant to become.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

There are so many factors we can take into consideration in therapy. I think it's important to start from a holistic approach, almost like being a personal detective to better understand our current condition. For example, are there any somatic, intersectional, cultural, or environmental factors we should look into? What school or work environment do you find yourself in? How does your family culture impact your view on the world? Are there any messages your body is trying to send you about your mental health? Therapy is most certainly about discovering yourself and what you need, but I believe it's not complete without recognizing what is around you and external impacts on your mind and body. Let's see the whole picture to better navigate the life circumstances you are currently facing.
