I specialize in helping people work through trauma and PTSD. I've helped a lot of people who struggle with anger and have difficulty controlling emotions. We will work to create a warm and comfortable relationship in therapy so you can understand how your life experience is affecting you.
My Background and Approach
I will help you improve your mental and emotional wellbeing by focusing on both your strengths and challenges. I have spent many years specializing in helping people struggling with out of control anger, PTSD and trauma related problems such anxiety. I use a body and mind approach to therapy so we will focus on where you are stuck emotionally, mentally, and physically. As a board certified therapist you can feel confident that I can help you accomplish your therapy goals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that therapy is most effective by using a collaborative approach to counseling. I will guide you through the counseling process at the pace that you feel is most comfortable and effective. Counseling is not a one size fits all process. Your unique personality and circumstances will determine how we will achieve success in therapy. My counseling practice is also intentionally LGBTQ affirming.
