About My Clients
You’ve been carrying things most people don’t understand—your trauma, triggers, and mental health struggles. You’re tired of feeling unheard and tired of just pushing through. You don’t need someone to simply agree with you; you need someone who will challenge you, hold you accountable, and help you confront what’s keeping you stuck. Therapy here is about learning real ways to cope, process trauma, and move through life without feeling like you’re succumbing to the pressure around you.
My Background and Approach
I’m a trauma-informed therapist who blends person-centered therapy with motivational interviewing to help you move forward. I’m compassionate, but I’ll also challenge you and hold you accountable. My goal is to create a space that feels safe, real, and supportive so you can do the work. Many clients say the connection feels genuine, supportive, and deeply trusting. I build that trust by listening, showing empathy, and meeting you where you are—holding space for honesty while gently challenging you. If you allow me the opportunity, I’d be honored to be part of your healing journey as you build strength, clarity, and lasting change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My approach to counseling is rooted in authenticity, accountability, and genuine human connection. Before entering the counseling profession, I served in the military, where I developed a deep appreciation for resilience, discipline, and the importance of support during life's most challenging moments. That experience shaped my belief that strength is not the absence of struggle, but the willingness to face difficulties and grow through them. I believe every person has the capacity for change and healing when provided with a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment. My counseling style balances empathy with directness, helping clients gain insight, challenge unhelpful patterns, and move toward meaningful goals. I value honesty, personal responsibility, cultural humility, and treating each individual with dignity and respect. Whether clients are navigating trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions, or personal growth, I strive to create a space where they feel heard,
