About My Clients
I work with clients who are marginalized, patronized, and/or judged due to sexuality (LGB), gender (transgender, non binary, intersex, other), lifestyle (polyamorous, swingers, kink, and other lifestyles), and profession (independent sex-workers, dancers, models, and others). I work with clients (individuals/couples/groups/polycules) on issues related to the above and/or to depression, anxiety, transitions, relationships, trauma,or a simple desire to self-actualize.
My Background and Approach
My therapeutic style is eclectic, encompassing a wide range of therapy styles and techniques, but I focus more on proven models of therapy such as Cognitive Behavioral and Person Centered Therapy, with an Existential focus on defining personal meaning.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am an advocate for people facing marginalization/judgement, persecution for who they are or how they live their lives. Each person should be celebrated for finding who they are, how they fit in our society, and for their unique beauty. As long as we are kind, as long as we respect the rights and agency of others, then no one should be able to tell anyone how to live their life. We should celebrate the glorious diversity and agency of each individual to find joy, peace, and community in a way that celebrates life. I celebrate you. I celebrate your uniqueness.
