About My Clients
I have extensive experience with helping teens and adults to help navigate anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, life transitions, and trauma in a way that feels real, grounded, and human.
My Background and Approach
My approach is warm, direct, and supportive, with room for honesty, curiosity, and the occasional lightness, because healing does not always have to feel cold or clinical. I’ve spent the majority of my time working with high risk populations within nonprofit organizations. I’ve worked with a variety of mental health and substance abuse issues including generalized anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, adjustment disorders, bipolar disorders, and other personality disorders. I utilize a person-centered and strengths based approach within treatment while using evidence based models including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI). I’ve also ran relapsed prevention groups to help maintain sobriety, intensive outpatient programs, and self esteem groups. With my expertise, I have extensive knowledge in how to best treat what my clients are dealing with.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
In working with clients, I work to help you feel more steady, gain clarity, and reconnect with yourself in a way that feels right for you. Therapy with me is not about perfection or quick fixes. It is about understanding what is underneath the stress, building resilience, and creating meaningful change at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you.
