About My Clients
I specialize in working with clients living with Sickle Cell Disease and helping them navigate the traumas associated with the disease. As a SCD Warrior myself, I utilize a holistic approach with my clients. I also provide counseling focused on males as well as the correctional/probational population. Clients working with me can expect an empathic and understanding experience. Client's needs, thoughts and inferences will be validated.
My Background and Approach
I have many years of experience and education with the following areas: Adoption Issues- Graduate of Training for Adoption Competency (TAC); Male mental health issues; Forensic counseling (court mandated services, veteran services); Financial Therapy; and working with individuals and families on various issues. I specialized in a diverse range of issues and therefore, my approach is to provide you with a diverse range of plans and treatments that will best fit your needs. I use various tools and techniques to assist you with achieving your goals.
