About My Clients
My ideal client is an adult ready to embark on a compassionate journey toward better mental health. I’m drawn to individuals overwhelmed by their mental health challenges who seek a provider who listens deeply and treats them with respect. Whether facing anxiety, depression, or other concerns, my goal is to help you understand your unique strengths. Together, we’ll explore self-compassion, create personalized strategies, and work toward lasting positive change.
My Background and Approach
As a Dual-Certified Family and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to my practice. I hold a Master's degree in Nursing from William Paterson University, where I specialized as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and I completed my Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification at Frontier Nursing University. My educational background is further supported by a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Western Governors University and an Associate's degree in Nursing from Northampton Community College. Throughout my career, I have worked in diverse healthcare settings, including primary care, urgent care, and outpatient services, where I have provided a wide range of care—from home visits and physical exams to medication management and disease education. Currently, I run Lerene Health, LLC, where I focus on diagnosing, treating, and managing adults experiencing mental health challenges.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am deeply committed to treating each individual as the unique person they are. My practice is rooted in the belief that true healing comes from understanding oneself—both strengths and challenges—and from making informed decisions about one’s health and life. I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach or in simply prescribing medications without understanding the underlying issues. Instead, I aim to work with my patients to develop strategies that are tailored to their specific needs, fostering a sense of self-compassion and kindness in the process. I believe in creating a supportive environment where patients feel heard, understood, and empowered to take control of their mental health. This philosophy guides my work at Lerene Health, LLC, as I strive to help my patients find a way of being in the world that aligns with their values and promotes long-term well-being.
