About My Clients
As a Latina, lesbian, and immigrant, I understand the challenges of accessing culturally responsive mental health care. My goal is to support clients in finding what they need to thrive in a world that is not built equally for all. Together, we can work on a variety of areas, including identity development, relationships, sex and sexuality, non-traditional life paths, trauma, cultural integration, and more.
My Background and Approach
I strive to build a collaborative, strengths-based, and curiosity-fueled space where we can explore your inner world and work towards your goals. I draw on principles of of Humanistic Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Feminist Therapy, and integrate several tools from various modalities depending on what will be best for you. I am passionate about celebrating and amplifying the often-overlooked creativity and strengths of traditionally marginalized groups, and I hope to integrate these into your healing journey.
