About My Clients
Are you are stressed out and overwhelmed? Are you are struggling with taking care of your needs, your family's needs, and how to balance it all? Do y feel like you've lost part of yourself since becoming a parent? Is your anxiety taking over? I get it, parenting is hard. You don't have to do it alone. Together we can work through these challenges and get to a place of more peace.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Registered Play Therapist, and parenting coach. I have been working with children and families for 18 years. Being a parent is HARD. Our kids can bring up issues we didn't even know we had. It can be so hard to find support from other parents. The judging and shaming that we can experience from others can make us feel alone. Whether my clients need parenting tips and tools or need support to work through their own challenges, I am here. Together we will find strategies to use to manage anxiety, stress, and overwhelm. I collaborate with my clients to identify and find solutions to the challenges they want to overcome and to make the changes that they wish to make. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My years (and passion) for working with children and their families, has lead me to become passionate about supporting parents on their journey. As a parent myself I know the challenges that parents may face. I have a busy household with two kids, two dogs, two rabbits, and some fish. I believe every parent is doing the best that they can and that we are all on our own journey, which is why I meet my clients where they are and work with them to get to where they want to go. Every person has a story to tell and every person is work in progress. Whether you are 2 or 52, we are always growing and changing. I strive to hold the supportive and non judgemental space that I feel every person needs.
