About My Clients
I work with adolescents and adults who are navigating stress, anxiety, low mood, trauma, life transitions or identity exploration. many are seeking space where they can feel heard and understood without judgement. My clients come from diverse backgrounds, including members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and often value care that is calm,. affirming and collaborative. Some are new to mental health care, while others are returning after experiences that did not feel supportive.
My Background and Approach
My background is rooted in many years of nursing and mental health care shaped by experiences in both direct patient care and healthcare leadership. Over time, this work has taught me that healing is rarely linear and never one size fits all. I bring this understanding into my practice with humility, curiosity and respect for each person's story. My approach is trauma-informed, identity affirming and collaborative. I believe care works best when clients feel safe, heard and involved in decisions about their treatment. I draw from evidence-based practices while remaining attentive to the emotional, cultural and spiritual dimensions of well-being. Whether care includes therapy, medication management or both, my goal is to move at a pace that feels steady and supportive-centering each client's strengths and capacity for healing.

I believe healing happens when people feel safe, respected and affirmed in who they are. care should honor the whole person-mind, body and spirit-while recognizing the impact of trauma, culture and lived experience. I approach my work with compassion, curiosity and humility believing clients are the expert of their own lives. I value collaboration, choice and pacing that feels supportive rather than rushed. healing is not about fixing what is broken, but about nurturing resilience, restoring agency and creating space for authenticity and growth.
