About My Clients
Have you ever experienced a difficulty that left you feeling isolated? Or a relationship that just didn’t make sense? These are all parts of being human but can leave us feeling unsettled, disconnected, confused, and hurt. I genuinely enjoy connecting with people, hearing their stories, and helping them through the hard times. Above all else, I find it important to create a safe space for my clients to feel secure enough to speak openly and show the more vulnerable parts of themselves.
My Background and Approach
When working with clients I utilize a systemic lens to help individuals attain and maintain a strong sense of self, secure relationships and overall well-being. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults, as well as issues related to relationships, sexual trauma, gender identity development, sexuality, and family of origin. I received my master’s degree in clinical mental health with an emphasis in multicultural counseling from the school of Education at the University of Colorado, Denver and currently hold my license in the state of Arizona as a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC).
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that those who have benefited most from working with me are clients who appreciate a candid, respectful, and collaborative approach. If this sounds like a good fit for your needs, I would love to speak about how to support you in reaching your own goals.
