About My Clients
Maybe you’re used to being the person others count on to hold it all together, but underneath you feel exhausted by anxiety, overwhelm, self-doubt, keeping the peace, and people-pleasing. Painful intimate or family relationships may have left you unsure of yourself and old patterns show up no matter how hard you try to break the cycle. You’re ready to feel confident, set healthier boundaries, and build relationships where you don’t feel like you’re losing yourself so everyone else stays happy.
My Background and Approach
Therapy with me is warm, conversational, and focused on what will help you move forward. You won’t have to fill the hour while I sit and nod. I’ll ask thoughtful questions, help you recognize patterns, offer honest feedback, and gently challenge the fears or beliefs keeping you stuck. For nearly 10 years, I’ve helped adults navigate anxiety, difficult relationships, and life changes. We’ll make sense of why you overthink, doubt yourself, feel responsible for others, or repeat unhealthy relationship patterns without judging how you learned to cope. We’ll work on setting boundaries without guilt, communicating confidently, stress management, and decision-making based on your needs and values. My trauma-informed approach uses CBT and ACT while drawing from attachment-based and psychodynamic perspectives. You’ll have space to process what happened, tools you can use outside of therapy, and support as you build confidence, healthier relationships, and a stronger sense of who you are.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people make sense in the context of what they’ve lived through. The patterns you want to change may have once helped you feel safe, accepted, or connected. That doesn’t mean anything is wrong with you or that you're destined to repeat them. With support, you can understand where those patterns came from, change what is no longer working, and feel more confident in the choices you make. Healing isn’t about becoming a different person. It’s about reconnecting with the parts of you that anxiety, self-doubt, painful relationships, and putting others first may have pushed aside. You deserve relationships where your voice, needs, and boundaries matter and a life that feels like your own. I value authenticity, compassion, curiosity, and the freedom to make choices that reflect your needs and values. My practice welcomes people of different identities, cultures, faiths, and family structures. I also believe there is room for honesty, humor, and being fully yourself in therapy.
