My Background and Approach
I approach therapy with compassionate curiosity, creating space for you to explore your inner world at your own pace. My style is psychodynamic and trauma-informed, which means we won’t just look at surface struggles, but also at the deeper patterns that leave you feeling stuck. Together, we’ll uncover what’s underneath so you can move toward more lasting change, relief, and connection in your life. I bring experience from higher levels of eating disorder care, where I provided individual, family, and group therapy while working closely with dietitians, psychiatrists, and doctors. I also have experience in outpatient settings, supporting people navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, and trauma. These experiences help me tailor therapy to meet you exactly where you are, whether you’re dealing with long-standing struggles or new challenges. I earned my MSW from Smith College and practice as an LMSW in NY, NJ, and CT under LCSW supervision.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in the dignity and worth of every person, and that taking are of your mental health is part of your healthcare. I believe that every person and every body is deserving of excellent care, and am committed to providing that level of care to all of my patients. I am an anti-diet, weight-inclusive, Health At Every Size (HAES) aligned provider.
