About My Clients
I work with people of all identities and walks of life. I am passionate about working with teens and adults who identify as queer, trans, and/or gender expansive. As someone who discovered their neurodivergence later in life, I love supporting neurodivergent clients (late and self diagnosed included!) through their journeys. Many of my clients are looking for relief from complex trauma (CPTSD) or needing support with life transitions as well.
My Background and Approach
I approach therapy relationally - which means I focus on building up the connection between myself and my clients in order to create a safe and comfortable environment for healing. I maintain an open mind and heart and offer a judgement free space where my clients can be themselves and explore all parts of what makes them who they are. I believe playfulness and creativity are an important part of healing - no matter the client's age - so I also like to integrate games, crafts, and other playful activities into therapy as well.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe the healing and therapy require safety. I also believe that choosing to go to therapy, no matter what your reason is, is incredibly brave. I believe that therapy is inherently political, so I'm happy to share my politics and discuss politics in session as much or as little feels right for you. I identify has a feminist, queer, and neurodivergent. I believe in a free Palestine and standing in solidarity with our undocumented neighbors. I believe that everyone has the right to bodily autonomy.
