About My Clients

Do you feel overwhelmed by anxiety, stuck in unhealthy patterns, or emotionally exhausted from trying to keep everything together? I work with individuals, couples, and families who want healthier relationships, better communication, and a deeper understanding of themselves. Together, we’ll create a supportive space to process difficult emotions, build insight, and create lasting changes that feel meaningful and realistic in everyday life.

My Background and Approach

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and relational. I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, relationship stress, communication challenges, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. As a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate, I view problems through a systemic lens, meaning I look beyond symptoms to understand the patterns, relationships, and experiences that may be contributing to distress. I draw from approaches like Bowenian therapy, Emotion Focused, and acceptance-based approaches to help clients build insight, improve communication, and respond to difficult emotions with greater flexibility rather than avoidance. I believe therapy should feel both supportive and practical, helping clients better understand themselves while also creating meaningful changes in everyday life. My goal is to create a space where clients feel heard, challenged when needed, and empowered to move toward healthier relationships and a more grounded sense of self.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe therapy works best when people feel accepted, understood, and able to show up as their full selves without judgment. I value curiosity, compassion, and the idea that people are shaped by both their relationships and the larger systems they live within. I strive to create an inclusive, affirming space for clients of all identities and backgrounds, including LGBTQ+ individuals. I also believe in the importance of advocacy and community care. I have participated in marches supporting increased teacher pay and racial equity, and I value being engaged in efforts that support fairness, dignity, and access for all people. In the therapy room, I hold the belief that growth is not about becoming a “better” version of yourself, but about understanding yourself more deeply, learning how to sit with difficult emotions, and building the kind of life and relationships that feel aligned with your values.
