About My Clients
Do you and your partner keep having the same arguments without ever truly resolving them? Maybe one of you shuts down while the other feels unheard, anxious, or alone. I help couples break out of painful communication cycles, rebuild emotional connection, and create safer, more secure relationships using an attachment-based and emotionally focused approach.
My Background and Approach
I am an AMFT and APCC with specialized training in couples therapy and attachment-based work. My approach is warm, collaborative, and insight-oriented while also providing practical tools clients can use in everyday life. I help individuals and couples better understand their emotional patterns, communication struggles, anxiety, relationship dynamics, and sense of self. I believe healing involves the mind, body, and spirit. In addition to therapy, I value holistic wellness practices such as movement, mindfulness, spirituality, self-care, and emotional connection as important parts of overall mental health. As someone who personally values an active and spiritually grounded lifestyle, I strive to help clients create more balance, security, and fulfillment both internally and within their relationships. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel understood, challenged, and empowered to grow.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people are capable of healing, growth, and meaningful change, even after painful experiences or difficult seasons in life. I understand that struggles with anxiety, self-worth, relationship pain, and emotional overwhelm can leave people feeling disconnected from themselves and others. My goal is to help clients build greater self-awareness, emotional security, and healthier relationships. I value a holistic approach to mental health that includes caring for the mind, body, and spirit. Outside of therapy, I enjoy fitness, movement, mindfulness, and spiritual growth, and I believe these practices can play an important role in overall well-being. My Christian faith is personally important to me, though I welcome and respect clients from all backgrounds, beliefs, identities, and walks of life. I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, supported, and genuinely understood without judgment.
