I work best with youth, teens young adults and families who are willing to consistently participate in their therapeutic journey. I am best equipped to support someone struggling with anxiety, depression, body image, attachment styles, self esteem, relationships and family dynamics. I'm here to walk along since you as you begin to create the life that feels liberating.
My Background and Approach
CJ grew up in the Midwest and moved to Colorado to earn their Master’s degree in Social Work from Colorado State University. They have experience working with children, adolescents and families in school-based mental health services and foster care/adoption settings. CJ uses a compassionate person-centered, mindfulness and strengths-based approach to help you identify what you need in order to move forward. They will meet you where you are in your healing journey and provides a safe space for all identities. CJ is experienced providing individual and family counseling to support you with: Anxiety Adoption, Child and Adolescent Mental Health, Depression, Mindfulness, and Relationship Issues I am excited to work with you and see how we can develop a professional relationship to address your needs and desires of your mental health journey. I believe that therapy is more than just talking about feelings, assigning emotional homework and using coping mechanisms. It's about getting to know you as a human. The whole you. To truly begin to learn more about how everything in your life is affecting you. I am the type of therapist who has a collaborative, dynamic approach in order to create a space for the people I work with to feel that they have a voice. I want to not just show you what a safe space is but together we can explore what safe means to you. You're the expert of your own life, I am the expert of the knowledge I know... together we can build harmony and trust to create a professional, therapeutic relationship that can support your healing and success.
