About My Clients
CJ Munro, LPC, MA, works with families, couples, individuals, and teens. CJ is obtaining ASSECT certification and focuses on the Gottman Method, trauma, gestalt, mindfulness, and sex therapy. As a non-binary, trans-affirming member of the LGBTQ+ community, CJ knows how important it is to find a therapist who is an ally and lived experiences of your concerns. Their person-centered approach empowers individuals to become the author of their journey and obtain safety and joy!
My Background and Approach
CJ holds membership to the American Psychological Association Human-Animal Interaction (APA HAI). Their graduate school capstone project on Ethical Transference in Human Animal Interactions is included in a training video for therapists obtaining their Certificate of Education in Animal Assisted Therapy from the Animal Assisted Therapy Programs of Colorado (AATPC). As a life-long learner, CJ looks forward to becoming an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist (CST) through the California Institute of Integral Studies. CJ has two years of training in Synergetic Play Therapy, four years of Trauma Training, Level Two in Gottman Methods, and is obtaining their Sex Therapy Certificate. They have a mindfulness approach to counseling, client centered, gender and trauma informed. CJ looks forward to working with you!

I also believe individuals have the inherent wisdom to heal and your ability to regain your power in your life. You are not broken and together I believe we can reclaim your confidence and strong sense of self in the domain of love, sex and gender!
