About My Clients
I have 15 years experience working in the mental health field, working with adults, families, couples, and children, and my experience has taken me to many various settings including homes, schools, community centers and recently a hospital, to provide a wide variety of therapy.
My Background and Approach
As a Licensed marriage Family Therapist, I work with individuals, couples and families. I utilize empathetic listening and compassion to provide a safe environment where we can identify goals together. I also believe in being collaborative and at times directive, so that we can uncover negative behaviors, patterns, or roadblocks and work towards replacing these with healthy thoughts, feelings and behaviors for symptom relief, growth and ultimately generalize to lasting change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Sometimes in life we get stuck and we don't know where to go to get help. We all try to handle life but life is challenging! I believe we learn from experience and many times the ways we have learned to handle our problems is not really effective.. But you don't have to handle your problems alone. Therapy is like having a really experienced guide walk you through learning about yourself and how to handle life. You can thrive and I'm here to help.
