About My Clients
I work with thoughtful, high-achieving adults, professionals, entrepreneurs, executives, creatives, and first-generation achievers who seem fine on the outside but are quietly carrying anxiety, depression, burnout, or unresolved trauma. If you're tired of insight without transformation, you're my ideal client. I also see couples and families ready to break old patterns. My practice is affirming, culturally responsive, LGBTQIA-allied, and BIPOC-allied.
My Background and Approach
With over 20 years of clinical experience, I bring both depth and steadiness into the therapy room. I trained at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, which shaped my belief that healing happens in the context of relationships, with yourself, your partner, your family, and your history. As an LMFT, I provide CBT, Structural Family Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, EMDR, and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy. We'll discuss the best method(s) of treatment for you during our consultation. Two decades of practice mean I've seen how trauma, anxiety, burnout, and depression show up differently across life stages and relationships, and how to move you past insight into real, lasting change and transformation with your beliefs, emotions and behaviors. You get a clinician with the experience to know what works and the flexibility to build it around your story.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I identify as a Black American woman with progressive, left-leaning values, and those values shape how I show up for my clients. I care deeply about dismantling oppressive systems, both nationally and globally, and I stand firmly for human rights and freedom of expression wherever it causes no direct harm to others. I believe in the liberation of oppressed and marginalized people, and that belief follows me into the therapy room as a commitment to being sensitive to your background, identity, and lived experience, whoever you are. I'm an active ally to all people of the Black diaspora, the BIPOC community, and the LGBTQIA+ community, because I believe therapy should be a space where every part of you is welcome.
