About My Clients

I work best with teens, adults, and couples who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward. Many of my clients struggle with anxiety, relationship stress, or big life transitions. Some know exactly what’s wrong, while others just feel “off” and need help making sense of it. I also support clients navigating family dynamics, cultural expectations, and identity, especially those who haven’t always felt heard or understood.

My Background and Approach

I am a Marriage and Family Therapist trainee providing services through Community Mental Health Group under the supervision of a licensed clinician. I have experience working with children, teens, adults, and couples in both school-based and community mental health settings. This has given me the ability to support a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, emotional regulation, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I draw from approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy, emotionally focused therapy, and experiential work, which allows me to tailor sessions to each client’s needs. For you, that means therapy won’t feel one-size-fits-all. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, understood, and supported while also gaining practical tools and deeper insight to help you move forward in your daily life.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a Filipino American therapist, I’m especially mindful of how culture, family expectations, and intergenerational experiences can shape the way we think, feel, and relate to others. In many AAPI families, topics like mental health, emotions, or personal struggles aren’t always openly talked about, which can leave people feeling alone or misunderstood. I’m passionate about creating a space where those unspoken experiences can be explored safely and without judgment. I value openness, respect, and meeting people where they are. I support individuals navigating identity, cultural pressures, and the balance between honoring family values while also finding their own voice. You don’t have to have it all figured out to start.
