As a therapist, I value creating a safe space for individuals to "think out loud." I believe that individuals who are curious about their own feelings and experiences can create shifts in perspective and be empowered by their life choices. You deserve to live a life with authenticity.
My Background and Approach
My therapeutic style is collaborative and warm with a healthy dose of humor. There is nothing that is too big, too small, too scary, too embarrassing, or too painful to share in the therapeutic space. All feelings and emotions are welcomed, accepted, and valid. By navigating through human experiences, we can then create a new narrative that strengthens our sense of self and propels us further into the person that we are meant to be. My hope for you is that the growth you receive in therapy is translated into every facet of your life, whether its in your career, your relationships, and most importantly, the relationship with yourself.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As an Asian American therapist, I value diversity and supporting individuals who may have separate values, cultural identities and believes from their families or communities. I work from a social justice and feminist perspective. It is important to me to continue supporting those who are marginalized or underrepresented, and making a point to continue educating myself as a clinician so that I can provide culturally sensitive therapy.
