About My Clients
My primary passion is supporting adolescents on their mental health journeys. I also work with children and young adults. I serve clients of all ages who have experienced trauma, relationship issues, addiction, and loss. I help clients who are navigating difficult life transitions. I also help clients who are developing their identities and trying to find their place in the world.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is kind, relational, and supportive. I genuinely connect with clients, creating a space that gently states: “Come as you are.” My approach to therapy is person-centered, meaning that I listen to clients’ stories, validate their experiences, and support their individual therapeutic needs. My approach to therapy is also trauma-informed. I view therapy as a collaboration and invite clients to set the pace for a healing process that feels authentic to them. In sessions, I invite clients to explore breathing exercises, play, movement, and art as a way to ground and build connections to self. My aim is to help clients feel comfortable expressing their inner thoughts, feelings, and sensations so that they may authentically engage in meaningful relationships and self-compassion. I maintain a deep belief in and admiration of the power of human connection, and I am honored each time a client invites me to listen to their story.
