About My Clients
My specialty is helping individuals, couples, and families with relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. Through relational and psychodynamic therapy, we explore how you have learned to protect yourself, connect with others, and respond when closeness feels difficult.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a background in clinical psychology and advanced training in psychodynamic and psychoanalytic thinking. My approach is warm, relational, and grounded in curiosity about the experiences that have shaped who you are and how you relate to others. I believe our ways of protecting ourselves often develop for important reasons, yet over time they can make it difficult to feel close, understood, or fully ourselves. In therapy, we pay attention to what is spoken as well as what may be harder to put into words. I am especially interested in what unfolds within the therapeutic relationship, where familiar ways of seeking connection, protecting ourselves, or pulling away can become more visible. Rather than rushing toward answers, I create space for us to wonder together about what lies beneath the surface, allowing for deeper self-understanding, greater emotional freedom, and more meaningful relationships.
